In the past, they have jointly designed a villa in Bayreuth and a listed guild house in Bern, among other projects. Studio DIA, founded and managed by Felix Krüttli, Wulf Böer, Martin Dubach and Katrin Gurtner, works at the interface of residential construction and urban planning.Villa Bayreuth
Inspired by California modernism, the home blends into an expansive garden. pan mobili created wood fixtures and shelving for the airy, two-story living space, where warm tones, clean shapes and natural wood all work as one.
Zunfthaus Bern
During the conversion of the historic late Baroque guild house in Bern, the interior fittings for the serving rooms were designed as lightweight fixtures in contrast to the existing building. The kitchen and shower are made of bolted steel frames and can be quickly assembled and disassembled. On their slender feet, they look as if they were guests in the ponderous house, which is steeped in history. A folding screen covered with rattan serves as a translucent space divider between the sleeping and shower areas.
